Was it all bad?

Malala Yousafzai

- the young girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban. But survived!!

Yes, being shot in the head is bad! But, in Malala's case this world-wide publicity could be all she needs for her dream to become reality. This shot in the head may allow Pakistani girls the right to have education!

Malala has fought for this right by raising awareness despite the Taliban's opposition.

Since Malala has shared about the injustices in Pakistan I want to focus on Afghanistan.
Last semester, I wrote an essay of Afghanistan and I was shocked by how terrible life is in Afghanistan- especially for girls.

Here are a few facts of women and girls' troubles in Afghanistan...

Thanks to Malala & the Taliban's mistake the world knows about these injustices.
I wonder what will they are doing too help?
Also, what can YOU do?

Girls- Make the most of your education & appreciate it because other girls are fighting for what you have!

Guys/Men- Please encourage and respect women and girls & protect them! We do not want these injustices to escalate.

Women- Be creative! You have power to help a younger generation thrive! Your voice is respected by your family and those younger than you. You can do so much if you put your mind to it. There are many big and small possibilities!

The future is in YOUR hands!
